RULES
✔ Be respectful to fellow players.
We’re in this game together, and while you don’t have to be best friends and cozy with everyone, being polite and respectful should go without saying. A positive environment for all players is something we strive for, so if someone is making you uncomfortable, please tell contact a mod and we’ll work with you. Harassment or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
✖ Don’t mix out of character (ooc) feelings with in character (ic) ones.
Using your character(s) to attack or be inappropriate to another player in a personal manner will not be tolerated. If this is happening, or you think it is happening to you, please contact a mod.
✖ No infomodding or godmodding without the other player’s permission.
Communication is important, so if you’re unsure about something, it’s better to ask the other player than just assume. It’s recommended, as it is very helpful, you list your character’s permissions in their journal so other players can respect those boundaries.
✖ One warning will be given for inappropriate behavior.
If another infraction occurs, the player will be banned from the game. If the action is severe enough, in some cases there will be no warning and a player will be immediately banned.
✔ Put trigger warnings where needed,
and triggering material should be behind a cut. If you’re not sure if a warning is needed, it’s better to be safe. If someone requests you put something behind a cut, please do so. Also, please note if something is not safe for work (nsfw).
✔ Lock any material that would be deemed not safe for work.
Please note to why it is considered nsfw (excessive gore/violence, sexual, etc.), and put it under a cut.
✔ Comment to the the mandatory How’s My Driving (HMD) post.
The post is community locked and only members can comment and see on it. It’s encouraged to use this opportunity to talk to a player about any issues you may have ICly or OOCly with them. If you are not comfortable addressing the person directly, contact the mods and we can try to work something out. HMD is about constructive criticism, not flaming, harassing, bully, etc. Any sign of a thread is becoming inappropriate will be frozen.
✔ Comment to activity check (AC) on time.
Activity check consists of twenty comments that are from at least two different posts and two different characters. A strike policy is in place, and more informations can be read about AC on the FAQ. Mandatory HMD comments are a part of activity check.
✔ Post a hiatus notice in the hiatus page,
not just in the out of character (OOC) community. A hiatus will not be seen as legitimate if there isn’t a comment on the hiatus page. See more informations about hiatus policies in the FAQ.
✔ A player may only have two characters in the game as of now.
One character per application cycle may be applied for. This may change in the future.
✔ Remember that in character (IC) actions have IC consequences.
✔ Make sure your character meets the criteria for being appable.
If unsure, see the FAQ for more information. If you still have a question, ask one of the mods.
✔ Tag your posts appropriately.
Tag all the posts.
✔ Try to play your character as in-character as possible.
We want you to have fun, but staying true to a character’s portrayal is important. In time, characters will develop and change to their new environment, but keep it in perspective. If you have an issue with a character’s portrayal, please contact the mods.
