HIATUS AND DROPS
Hiatus
At some point or another, we all need a break from RP, and that’s just fine! Sometimes, we have things that have a higher priority and need to be dealt with; again, that’s fine with us and no one will be upset if you decide it’s time for you to take a step back and sort things out. We all know that life comes first, and it’s not as though RP is a job, so don’t stress. If you need to take a break, simply paste the code into a new comment on this entry with the title “HIATUS” to make your absence official. During the time of your hiatus, do keep in mind a few things:
❶ You are allowed to hiatus up to one full month at a time. If you will be gone longer than that, we, the mods, would be willing to work out a case-by-case deal, but we would prefer that you drop the character to avoid squatting.
❷ You must, I repeat, must, be on hiatus for at least two weeks of an activity period to get a free pass on activity check. However, if we notice that you are taking advantage of this, we will be having a stern word with you and make sure that you aren’t doing this just for the sake of dodging the activity checks.
❸ Any hiatus not documented on this page will not count when activity check is done, so please remember to post your hiatus notice here, not just the ooc comm!
Drop
There comes a time when we lose interest in the character we’re playing, or we just don’t have the time for RP in general because real life has decided to kick you in the groins (or womanhood). When push comes to shove, sometimes we just have to let go and say “Thanks for the memories”. Because idling out is no fun, please comment here with the form below and the subject line “DROP”. In addition, don’t forget to put your username in all 4 required places so it’s easier for us to remove you from the communities!
