Old Kodor 6th kodor. New Kodor 4th kodor. Development Essay Since hatching from an egg in Pallet Town, life has been tough for this small Caterpie. The battles against Rattata on Route 1 never seemed to end. His HP may have been low, yet his resolve was strong. Thanks to trainer's strategy and his trusty String Shot, he finally reached Viridian City's Pokemon Center on his own. At level 7, no less! Soon, will become a Metapod - one step closer to his dream. Although Caterpie has almost achieved something great, he still has a long way to go before his final evolution.

Now? He's a beautiful and majestic Butterfree. Now he can put you to sleep, poison you, and stun you. He worked hard and trained hard to gather experience points, level up and get some Psychic-type moves in his arsenal. Sometimes, he fought against Flying-types, his greatest nemesis. Sometimes, he lost. But every loss is a lesson learned. He taught himself how to avoid their quick attacks by disabling them in any way possible - be it by poison, paralysis, or sleep. In his weaknesses, he found his strengths. And that's how he got to the top.
